About Our College

The Gossaigaon College is the only degree College imparting higher education to all the students of entire Gossaigaon civil sub-divission since its establishment in 1971. The primary aim of the College is to provide higher education to the deprived and economically poor section of the society and to empower them to get gainful employment in various sectors and develop as useful citizens. The College is situated in a 9.73 hectares of campus in a rural set up with sufficient infrastructure to run the present courses. The beautiful natural Sal (Shorea robusta) trees standing gloriously by the side of the College provides a peaceful and conducive atmosphere for teaching & learning process.
